Critically-acclaimed, award-winning, independent films

Laura Heberton makes movies with boundary-pushing, visionary artists. 

All of her films have premiered at top festivals worldwide, including Sundance, Berlin, BAFICI, CPH:DOX, SXSW, Tribeca, BFI London and Karlovy Vary, and have won multiple best film, cinematography and acting awards as well as honors such as Independent Spirit Award and Cinema Eye Heterodox nominations. Every feature is available on platforms such as iTunes, Netflix, Amazon and Vimeo. Many of the films have received grants and support from leading film institutes/organizations including the SFFILM/Kenneth Rainin Foundation, the Sundance Institute, the Independent Filmmaker Project (IFP), the Polish Film Society, Cinemart and US in Progress (Wroclaw). Laura has served on a number of film juries and numerous task forces and currently is Board Chair of the Silver Eye Center for Photography and a board member of Pittsburgh Arts & Lectures.
